Omschrijving
Sail along the Slovenian coast on a tour from Izola. Admire the views of Piran from the sea, stop at the Bay of Strunjan, and swim in the turquoise waters of Bele Skale.
Set sail from Izola and cruise along the Slovenian coast. Admire Piran from the sea, a unique vantage point from which to admire Slovenia's most visited city. The San Bernardino Bay is home to a settled colony of dolphins, surveyed and monitored by the nonprofit organization Morigenos. If you are lucky, you may encounter these wonderful sea dwellers while sailing.
Stop at the Bay of Strunjan, a bay offering a unique spectacle: on one side, the dark green wild vegetation meeting the blue water creating unique plays of colors and on the other side, the typically Venetian St. George's bell tower towering into the blue sky. In this wonderful bay, enjoy a tasty lunch and relax lulled by the sea and away from the crowds.
Next, sail to another beautiful swimming spot: Bele Skale, a bay characterized by high white cliffs. The water is turquoise, the vegetation is rich, and the beach, accessible only by sea or by a long walk from Izola, is of white pebbles. Snorkelers will be able to discover the beauty of the underwater world and admire the Pinne Nobilis, the largest bivalve in the Mediterranean sea, which is repopulating the seabed thanks to a European project.
Return to Izola and disembark after a day dedicated to relaxation and the sea away from the summer crowds.
