Description
This children's walking tour in Trieste turns the old centre into a storybook for curious kids aged 6 to 13. Three characters lead the way, Penguin Marco, the cat Max and a seagull named Ulo, and they take young explorers through the streets, squares and castles of the city for about two hours.
Along the route the children hear fairy-tale stories inspired by Miramare Castle, and hunt for odd symbols carved in San Giusto Cathedral, guessing what they stand for. They look closely at the city's fountains and scan old façades for theatrical masks and curious faces, while gentle ghost stories add mystery to the streets.
